I completed the second and third drafts of my novel up at Red. The charms of this place are obvious. It's a spacious, quiet workspace nestled in an extremely beautiful part of the world. There are stunning hiking trails at your door, there's fresh air, there's majestic mountain scenery.

But more than that, it's secluded without being isolated. Whenever I needed a chat, a coffee or a browse through a good bookstore, the quaint little town of Rossland was just a hike or a quick drive away. For me, it was the perfect balance - and a very productive time.
